The history of the manufacture officially began on June 2, 1991, in Starachowice (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship), Poland. It was then that Stanisław Syst founded the Manufacturing and Trading Enterprise "MARIKA". The driving force behind opening the glassworks was the desire to preserve and cultivate the rich, generations-old tradition of Polish crystal glass cutting and decoration.
Over more than 30 years of continuous operation, a small, local craft workshop has transformed into a globally recognized brand. Today, the renown of MaRika Crystal reaches the most prestigious boutiques, luxury department stores, and private collections of connoisseurs across several continents. Despite this international success, the company remains deeply loyal to its roots, basing its entire production process on the exceptional skills of local Polish master glass cutters.

The core business profile of MaRika Crystal centers on the design, manual cutting, engraving, and distribution of exclusive crystal glass products. The manufacture operates both in retail via its modern e-commerce platform and in wholesale, cooperating with business partners domestically and internationally.

- Traditional Craftsmanship (Hand Made): The company categorically distances itself from mass, machine-driven production. Every single wine glass, vase, or decanter passes through the hands of an experienced artisan. Cutting and polishing patterns by hand ensures that no two pieces are identical—making every product a unique work of applied art.
- Premium Grade Crystal: The manufacture uses exclusively certified crystal containing 24% lead oxide (PbO). This specific lead content gives the glassware its characteristic weight, flawless clarity, spectacular light refraction (the rainbow effect), and a deep, resonant ring during toasts.
- A Rich Spectrum of Colors and Forms: The glassworks is famous for producing both classic white (clear) crystal and highly challenging colored crystal. The product range includes vessels in deep shades of ruby, cobalt, emerald, amber, lila, powder pink, and luxury black.
- Artistic Custom Engraving: An important branch of the business is glass personalization. The workshop executes intricate occasional engravings, baroque ornaments, hunting motifs, and patriotic symbols, including the official Polish Coat of Arms.
